Millions of people suffer and die every year from the forces of Nature, through no human fault of their own. So where is the all-loving, all-powerful God, to intervene and prevent suffering? (Note: this is not about human-caused suffering)Is He or She uncaring of his creation, we suffering humans? Or, it's like the multiple competing gods of Ancient Greece? Fickle and unpredictable, good and bad for us. Or, it's like what the Founders of America thought -- God is currently absent from his creation (Deism). I want to believe in a wonderful afterlife where we reunite with our loved ones. My conclusion is we just don't know about any afterlife, FOR CERTAIN. No one does, for certain.Faith does not require proof because if there was proof there would be no need of faith.
